backnextdry gin martini

  • 50ml Beefeater Gin
  • 10ml Noilly Prat dry vermouth

Method
Fill a Stirring Glass with fresh cubed ice and add the Vermouth. Stir briefly to coat the ice. Then add the gin and continue to gently stir until a frost has developed on the outside of the glass. This should take approximately 2-3 minutes. Then pour into a pre-chilled cocktail glass. The drink may then be garnished in one of the following 2 ways:

Garnish with either:

Lemon Zest Take a washed, unwaxed lemon and remove a strip of the peel using either a vegetable peeler or sharp knife. Turn the peel around and remove any leftover pith by placing the peel on a chopping board and carefully running a flat knife along the length. Then squeeze the peel over the drink to release the oils. Run the peel around the rim of the glass before dropping it into the drink.

Olive Simply rinse a pitted, green olive under cold water and pierce with a cocktail stick. Place into drink.
